Saturday, embarkation after 6 p.m. in Lipari.

Sunday, at sea to Lipari and after lunch to Panarea. Then we will enjoy the sunset from Ginostra and have dinner in Stromboli. When we get back on the boat we will enjoy the natural fireworks display at Sciara Del Fuoco if it will allow us.

On Monday, after having had our fill of the Strombolian sea we will head to Salina where we will descend to Pollara for a magnificent walk and dinner of capers and malvasia (and more).

Tuesday, we will head leisurely to Filicudi where in the afternoon we will ascend the hill to enjoy its capers to the sound of music, extraordinary people and food that tastes of land and sea from breathtaking terraces.

Wednesday, we will sail around Filicudi, Alicudi and here we will stop for walking, dinner and night under the stars, where the stars are many and giant.

Thursday, from Alicudi always calmly we will sail to Vulcano changing the stage. Here we may ascend the volcano. Certainly in the late afternoon we will walk westward from where the perspective of the Fossa volcano is somewhat unprecedented and to watch the sunset that lights the whole rest of the Aeolian archipelago pink. This will always be followed by our typical dinner.

Friday, from Vulcano to Lipari diving along their beautiful coastline. In the afternoon, always sunset walking and dinner/tasting at the winery.

Saturday, we disembark in Lipari by 10 a.m.......renewed and happy.

Lipari

By plane: flight to Catania (Fontanarossa) and Palermo (Falcone e Borsellino) international airports (also reachable by most low-cost airlines)
From Catania reach Milazzo where a hydrofoil will depart for the island of Lipari
From Palermo direct hydrofoil to Lipari

Alternatively, the island of Lipari can be reached from Naples (hydrofoil, about 5 hours or overnight ferry), Salerno (hydrofoil, about 4 hours), Reggio Calabria (hydrofoil)

Trapani/Marsala 

By plane: flight to Trapani (Vincenzo Florio airport). The port of Trapani and the port of Marsala are 17km from the airport.
Alternatively, you can also fly to Palermo (Falcone e Borsellino International Airport). 90km to Trapani and 110km to Marsala.

Stop planning for things you'll never do and start living for the moment!

Get to grips with the basics of sailboat chartering by reading and finding out as much as possible before you travel. Once you're ready, take the plunge and try it for yourself.

Words won't be able to describe the sense of freedom you'll discover aboard our sailboat.

What to pack

You won't need to bring much with you. Most of your days will be spent relaxing in your swimsuit. Come nightfall, you'll be chilling in the cockpit. Avoid loose clothing as it can easily get tangled. Generally speaking, the more you bring, the less space you'll have to relax in your cabin. You can shower in the cabin bathroom or aft deck, out in the open. In any case, using biodegradable products is better for the sea and for you!!!

Clothes

Swimsuits and a few t-shirts and shorts. Long-sleeved tops, pants, and a sweater for the evening. We recommend you bring a hooded raincoat in case it rains. Once we're ashore in the evenings, feel free to dress up to your heart's content.

Shoes

We have a barefoot policy on the boat. Shoes are not permitted for reasons of hygiene. If the need arises, you may wear shoes that haven't been worn ashore. All you need is a pair of white-soled sneakers. Please clean them before you get here. You can wear flip flops and heels once you're ashore.

Sports gear

We have flippers and masks of various (but not all) sizes. Please bring your own if you’re into diving and have room in your bag. Bring along a pair of rock shoes if you can fit them in your luggage. They’re handy for walking along the beach after swimming. We don’t keep any diving equipment on the boat.

Personal belongings

Sunglasses, a sun hat, and sunscreen - please don't bring oils or thick creams, as they make communal areas really greasy, and they are difficult to wash off in the evening. Don't forget to pack any medicine you may need. We provide clean towels, bedsheets, and covers. Feel free to bring a beach towel so you can relax on the deck under the sun. If you get seasick, we recommend you pack motion sickness patches, medicines, or whatever works best for you.

Body care products

We recommend you bring natural and biodegradable products which are better for the sea, as well as for you and your skin. Sunscreen should be eco-friendly, silicone-free and should not contain water soluble filters, which are damaging to the environment. Biodegradable soap and shampoo containing plant-based surfactants do less damage to the environment. Please also try to limit how much water you use when you wash.
Bring a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel. For your face, cleansing milk with cotton pads is best, rather than cleanser you have to wash off (always saving water!). Avoid bringing makeup, creams, lipstick, and the like. Many products contain substances which, when exposed to the sun for a long time, can cause irritation or spots.

Electricity

You can charge your electronic devices whenever you want in your own cabin, with a 12v current. Please bring your own charger. In case you have a conventional 220v charger, you'll need to use the sockets inside the cabins once the generator has been turned on (usually for two hours in the morning and again in the afternoon/evening).
Otherwise, feel free to ask the skipper to turn on the socket next to the chart table at any time of the day.

Using the bathroom

There are 4 bathrooms on board (one in each cabin). The toilets are electric, with two buttons: Before and After to fill up and flush the water. It is strictly forbidden to throw anything down the toilet, including toilet paper, which you can dispose of in the appropriate bin. The shower is electric too. We'll explain how it works once you're all set up in your cabin.

Which bag to bring?

Let's talk about something tricky: your luggage. Why not try to get into the holiday spirit before you get here?
When you're packing, rid your mind of the overbearing constraints of everyday life and let the freedom and simplicity of life at sea guide your choices.
You'll find it much easier to pack light!

Bring soft luggage that doesn't take up much space when it's empty.
Hard-cased suitcases can be dangerous, causing damage to people on board and to the boat itself, especially if they have wheels and roll around easily.
They also take up a lot of precious space!

Remember; you only need half of what you think you need!

Documentation

If you're an EU citizen, you'll only need your ID card to travel around the Mediterranean.
For trips to the Seychelles, Maldives and the Caribbean, you'll need your passport. Make sure it's valid for at least 6 months after your trip ends.

More tips

• A (semi) waterproof shoulder bag/backpack is useful for when you're going ashore by tender.
• Toilet paper. Please don't even think about throwing it down the toilet!
• USB multi-port adapters can be useful if you have one, so you can use the same plug to charge multiple devices.

• Leave your hair straighteners and hairdryer at home.
